#Empowerment: LASG plans job training for 750 youths

The Lagos State Government says no fewer than 500 youths in the state will be given free software engineering training, adding that another 250 youths will receive a special training to boost their skills. The government which explained that the beneficiaries would be selected in each division of the state said that the initiative would increase the employability and orientation that would enable the beneficiaries to fit into available job opportunities in the state.

#Environment: Illegal felling of trees banned

The Kogi State Government yesterday banned illegal felling of economic trees and sand excavation in its effort to protect forest reserves.
