Agriculture: Ondo Cocoa Farmers Get N40 Million Premium Reward for Quality Cocoa

 

Hundreds of cocoa farmers belonging to various groups in Ondo State have been rewarded with N40 million premium payments for producing utz-certified cocoa beans by Cargill Cocoa and Chocolates, a Holland-based consumer company and its Nigerian partners, Agro-Traders Limited.

The Wireless Infrastructure Association today released a new study showing that projected private investment in wireless infrastructure over the next five years will generate as much as $1.2 trillion in economic growth and create 1.2 million new jobs. Health: Kwara targets .5m children, pregnant women in community health programme
Kwara State Ministry of Health has kicked off its maternal, neonatal and child health programme across the 16 local government areas of the state.
Speaking with journalists at one of the centres in Ilorin, the commissioner for Health, Alhaji Kayode Issa, said the programme is targeted to provide health care to 500,000 children and pregnant women in the state.
