Power: Exxon Mobil to commit $3bn for gas utilisation projects over five years

US oil producing giant Exxon Mobil, says it is committing $3 billion to gas resource development in Nigeria. This sum is $1.2 billion higher than the $1.8 billion investments the company has committed to gas projects in the country in the last three decades.

Petroleum: Orient Petroleum to hit 3,000bpd mark in September, plans gas plant

Orient Petroleum Resources Plc has concluded plans to increase the production of crude oil in its wells to 3,000 barrels per day next month. The company is also considering an indigenous company known as Nails & Stanley Ltd to establish a gas plant in Umueje in Ayamelum Local Government Area, Anambra.
