#Philanthropy: DESOPADEC Chief donates buses to Gbaramatu, Ogulagha Kingdoms


The Commissioner representing Izon nation in the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, has donated two 18-seater buses to Gbaramatu and Ogulagha Kingdom.

He made the donation during a recent visit to consult with traditional rulers in Warri and Ijaw communities in Delta State.

#Investment: Firms to build $1b set-top-box factory


An indigenous firm, Media Concepts International Limited (MCI) and its South Korean technical partner, KAON Media, have signed a deal to set up a factory in Nigeria to manufacture the set-top-boxes (STBs) that will be needed for the realisation of the analogue to digital switch over billed for 2017.

A member of the Ondo State House Assembly, representing Owo State Constituency II, Hon. Musa Mukaila has disbursed bursary to 300 students from Owo Local Government Area of the state.
